Learn Morse Code in 6 Easy Steps!

Here's how to get started learning Morse Code.

1. Start listening to Morse Code.

When you listen to Morse Code, what you hear is a series of long and short beeps – more commonly referred to as a "dit" (short) or a "dah" (long). Every letter is separated by a short pause, and every word is separated with a longer pause.
Hint: You can find an online Morse Code translator, search around for practice recordings, or buy a shortwave receiver to listen to some real Morse Code.
You can search or shop for practice recordings, or use a shortwave receiver to listen to the real thing. Some people use the Farnsworth method, which entails listening to Morse code characters at high speeds but with long spaces in between; as you become more proficient, the spacing is reduced.

2. Study a visual copy of the Morse Code alphabet.

A visual chart like the one seen here can certainly help. Try writing down the Morse Code alphabet by hand, and then writing sentences with it. This is one of the best ways to learn Morse Code fast. Once you memorize the Morse Code alphabet, its then an easy task to translate what you heard into what you saw visually. Like anything else worth doing, it takes practice!

3. Practice!

Translating Morse Code is a skill that just about any person can learn, but it absolutely takes practice. When you first start, you can write it down and sound it out, but eventually you'll need to just hear it. The words "Learn Morse Code" are seen here:
.-.. . .- .-. -. -- --- .-. … . -.-. --- -.. .

4. Transmit often!

One thing that you need to get used to is actually transmitting your Morse Code into audible signals. You can practice with the buttons on a mobile phone, beep vocally, or buy a Morse Code trainer. Whatever works best with you and your budget! To speak Morse Code while you learn, a small sound is pronounced "dit" and a long sound is pronounced "dah."

5. To Learn Morse Code, don't bite off more than you can chew.

Start learning Morse Code by memorizing the easiest letters first. One dit is an (E) and one dah is a (T). An (M) is "dah-dah" and an (I) is "dit-dit." Leave the more complex letters for last, like a J, a B, an L and an F (which I still get confused upon!)

6. Invite your friends!

Learn Morse Code, and then spread it around to your friends! You can then communicate with Morse Code through blinking your eyes, a flashlight, a mirror, or even by tapping your fingers at the dinner table!

To maintain the efficiency of refrigerators or freezers
To prevent the formation of the ice defrost must be done. There are some rules to perform defrosting. Firstly is that the content of the freezer must be cleared and keep the food into the cooler. To perform better defrosting by the freezer it is better to break off the large particles of ice and make it into small pieces. For a freezer it is quite easy to defrost if the ice is present in small size. Next hot water is needed and put it in a pot. Now this boiling water will be placed inside the freeze and the door of the freeze should be kept close. The advantage of this mechanism is that the heat that is coming out from the pot will defrost the ice and very quickly. Now another pot is needed to keep hot water. Keep the first pot inside the refrigerator for about 10 minutes and then keep the second pot inside the freezer after removing the first one. This process must be going on for couple of minutes and change the pot after every ten minutes. Thus it will help the freezer to defrost as quickly as possible. Continue the above process until the freezer completely defrosts. Now when the freezer completely defrosts open the door of the freezer but do not open until it defrosts completely. After this by using towel soak the water that comes after the melting of ice.

But there are some that are needed to keep in mind. When food is placed into the cooler it is necessary to keep the food at the bottom of the cooler as the cold air flows in the downward direction. Another thing should be kept in mind is that water should be removed as early as possible other wise it will mess up the floor.

Another way to keep refrigerator clean is that drawers and shelves of it must be cleaned regularly. So to do this all the drawers and shelves that are removable must be taken out from the refrigerator. If the drawers and shelves are made up of metal or it is of plastic then it can be leaned with hot water with dish soap. But if they are made up of glass then before cleaning it with hot water keep it outside to level their temperature with the room temperature. By doing these breaking or cracking can be prevented.

Eye of the Buyer: When Rehabbing, Donât Forget Curb Appeal

Value is in the Eye of the Beholder: The average homebuyer does not necessarily value the improvements that contractors find important. Don't be too surprised if your buyer is not overly excited by your astute choices in sheeting and vapor barrier, or your wise selection of solid moulding instead of finger-joint, or that extra thick carpet padding . If you think you will use these to successfully justify your price point, you may be disappointed.

Image is Everything: The average homebuyer does value external appearance, and the perceived superiority of the home. A house may be superior structurally to every other house on the block, but if it does not appear that way, it may not be valued by the buyer. Curb appeal always seemed to me to be silly. Flowers, shrubs, plastic shutters -- we contractors know these are all meaningless compared to the "important" things like wiring size, stud spacing, and plumbing vents. Yet, the visible portions of the property are often what makes or breaks the sale.

Find a Balance: Do what's right, but don't go overboard. Be careful not to focus all your time and capital solely on the unseen aspects of a project. Make a concerted effort to direct some energy into areas that buyers appreciate. That may mean mowing that raggedy lawn, trimming the overgrown bushes, and shining up grimy windows. Or maybe the driveway and sidewalks could do with a good power-washing, or re-paving if they're cracked. Fresh paint can do wonders. Generally, take a survey of what may need to be repaired or replaced, such as mailboxes or door knockers. None of these fixes has to be particularly labor-intensive or expensive. But they can go a long way toward adding to the appeal of the property and increasing profit margin upon resale.

First impressions are important, and, when it comes to houses, curb appeal is the first impression. Of course you should focus on the structural integrity of the home, just don't neglect what buyers will see. If they don't like what they see on the outside, you're not likely to get them inside. Putting yourself in the potential buyer's shoes will give you a much needed perspective, one that will enable you to see through someone else's eyes: the eye of the buyer.

Beat Making Was Never Easier
Just like any kind of artistry, beat making can be demanding. It requires a subtle blend of talent and skill-and hard work. Nothing gets it done in an instant. Some writers, for instance, can spend days of empty brains. A musical composer can have the same problem too. While beat making can be simpler than arranging musical orchestra pieces, it can be demanding too.

Hip hop artists need to be well motivated to come up with the right flavor and mixes. Beats are integral in the pop, R&B, hip hop, and dance music genre. They are basic in today's culture. Kids and adults dance and move to the beat. When you give the right beat, you make people get off their seats. That is how powerful and moving beats can be, but a discord could make people mad.

Not Just In Your Dreams!

Imagine what it would be like to get software which would help you make beats at the drop of a hat? An online beat maker so to speak, which allows you to make awesome beats in the privacy of your den and all you have to do for it is sit in front of your computer? Sounds too good to be true right? You're probably chuckling out the improbability of it all at this very moment!
You even have video tutorials to guide you through the entire process, so if you're a newbie, then this is definitely the way for you to learn about the entire process of beat making!

Production lessons regarding software instruments, ProTools, keyboard working and much more are also included in the online beat making package. You can get this and a lot more by downloading the online beat maker, just make sure it's compatible with your operating system. Don't worry though, most beat makers are designed to have universal capabilities!

Online beat making is an amazing tool for aspiring DJs and musicians, so why not start using it and gain and edge over the others? After all, you need to do all you can to be better than the competition right?

Deciding if Cheap Credit Cards are the Best Selection for You
What are your spending habits?

Your spending habits have a lot to do with picking choosing a credit card. If, for example, you don't use your credit card very often or you pay your credit card balance in full every month, you may not really need low interest credit cards. This is because low interest rate credit cards are really best for those who carry a balance from month to month because it saves money in finance charges. If you do not carry a balance, then you might be better off applying for a credit card with a cash back or other rewards program. These cards tend to have higher interest rates, but it won't affect you since you pay the card off each month.

What is your current debt status?

If you currently have a great deal of debt piled up on another credit card, or if you have small amounts of debt on several different credit cards, you might want to look into balance transfer credit cards rather than low interest rate credit cards. Generally, low interest credit cards provide a low APR on purchases made with the card. Balance transfer credit cards, on the other hand, offer low interest rates on balances transferred from one card to another. These cards usually waive the balance transfer fee, as well.

Applying for low interest credit cards when you want to transfer balances may not be very helpful at all if the low APR only applies to purchases made with the card. Therefore, make sure to learn more about the card's balance transfer polices before applying.

What is your lifestyle?

Most credit cards offer a variety of benefits. These can include special cash back incentive programs, rewards programs and airline miles rewards programs. These cards tend to have a higher interest rate than cards that do not have special programs, but the trade off can be worth it if you will be able to take full advantage of the program and the finance charges you will need to pay are minimal. If you look hard enough, you can usually find a rewards credit card with a decent interest rate.

Aside from these special programs, however, credit cards offer additional benefits. These can include purchase protection, extended warranty coverage, auto rental insurance, travel insurance, and roadside assistance. When looking through low interest rate credit cards, you need to take these benefits under consideration. If your lifestyle is such that you will be able to take advantage of these benefits, then it might be worth paying a slightly higher interest rate, particularly if you will not be carrying a balance on the card very often.

While low interest rate credit cards seem like a great option at first, they are not necessarily the best choice for everybody. The best candidate for these cheap credit cards is someone who will carry a balance on the credit card from purchases each month and who is not concerned about receiving a number of special benefits or rewards programs from their credit card. Otherwise, you might want to consider exploring other types of credit cards.
